Nobody needs a V8 X6. Wanting one is another matter.

This dealer-advertised X6 M50i is asking €69,900 in Larnaca. The advert describes a December 2022 M50i xDrive with 30,500 km, a petrol V8 and an automatic gearbox. It was marked in stock when checked on 15 September 2026.

The price, mileage and availability above are from the advert. Mastro does not own this car.

A week with this X6

I drove this M50i for a week: highway trips from Larnaca to Yeroskipou in Paphos and to Ayia Napa, plus a mountain trip from Larnaca to Troodos.

Getting in is an experience on its own. The crystal gear selector is part of it. I prefer this screen to the newer ultrawide one, too.

The massage seats are excellent on a long drive. But the best thing is still the V8 rumble.

You have Comfort, Eco Pro, Sport and Sport Plus. Comfort is the one I would use day to day. Sport Plus is for the full response and the shove back into the seat.

On the road, the grip and composure are impressive. They also hide the speed far too well. To me, 200 km/h-plus through a highway bend felt like cruising at 120. That is the dangerous part: the car can make you feel comfortable long after the speed has become a problem.

Why this one

The massage seats are for the long trips. Comfort mode is for the everyday driving. The seller also lists ventilated seats, a head-up display and a 360-degree camera. You can put together quite a sensible family-car argument from that lot.

Then you hear the 4.4-litre V8. Select Sport Plus and there is that immediate response, followed by the shove back into the seat. This is the bit you actually wanted. The equipment just gives you something respectable to talk about when someone asks why you need an M50i.

Equipment, price notes and sources

With the advertised extras

The equipment comparison uses the seller’s advertised specification. New-car option prices are dated August 2025.

This adds the published individual option prices to the January 2026 base price. The rounded figures allow for the higher-priced 742M wheel finish; both options are shown below. The roof, exact trim and upholstery, and older features without a verified match remain outside the subtotal. Package requirements, current availability and the final specification need a Cyprus dealer quote; this is not a complete like-for-like price.

22-inch M Double-spoke 742M wheels
+€945 to €1,365

The advert does not identify the finish. The M60i column lists 1PA Bicolour at €945 and 1PQ at €1,365. One set is counted, using that range. Page 2.

Front seat ventilation
+€945

Option 453, page 4. Counted individually, without also adding Comfort Plus.

Front Comfort seats
+€892.49

Option 456, page 4. Electric adjustment, memory and lumbar support are already standard; the Comfort seat upgrade is extra.

Heated front seats
+€419.99

Option 494, page 4. The advert does not establish rear-seat heating.

Front massage seats
+€1,155

Option 4T7, page 5. Counted individually, without also adding the Exclusive Package.

Driving Assistant Professional and adaptive cruise
+€2,677.5

Option 5AU, page 5. BMW Cyprus describes distance control and stop-and-go assistance within this system. The advert’s Traffic Jam Assistant is not charged a second time; the separate 5AR row lists no extra charge.

Parking Assistant Plus with surround-view cameras
+€840

Option 5DN, page 6. Uses Plus as advertised, rather than upgrading the comparison to Parking Assistant Professional.

Head-up display and Live Cockpit Professional
+€1,680

Option 6U3, page 6. BMW’s facelift announcement includes the head-up display within Live Cockpit Professional, so it is counted once. The advert calls its system Live Operating Area Professional.

Four-zone climate control
+€840

Option 4NB, page 5. Counted individually, without also adding Comfort Plus.

Acoustic glazing
+€630

Option 3KA, page 3. Separate from the sun-protection glazing already standard on the M60i.

CraftedClarity glass controls
+€577.49

Option 4A2, page 4. The facelift has a different centre-console design, so the controls are not identical to the M50i’s.

Iconic Glow grille
+€525

Option 3DN, page 3. The dated Cyprus schedule lists this as an M60i option at €525. Confirm availability for a current order.

Harman/Kardon and Connected Package Professional
Standard on the new car

688 and 6C4 are standard in the M60i column, page 6. Current connected-service terms and the used car’s subscription status still need checking.

M differential, Adaptive M suspension and M exhaust
Standard on the new car

2T4, 2VF and 1MA are standard, pages 2–3. The seller’s Adaptive M Chassis wording does not establish the more expensive Professional suspension.

M Sport brakes
Standard on the new car

Red M Sport brakes, 3M2, are standard, page 3. The advert does not specify its caliper colour.

Comfort Access and sun-protection glazing
Standard on the new car

322 and 420 are standard in the M60i column, pages 3–4.

High-beam assistant, extended mirrors and ambient lighting
Standard on the new car

5AC, 4T8 and 4UR are standard, page 5.

Anthracite headlining and High-gloss Shadow Line
Standard on the new car

775 and 760 are standard, page 6. The advert does not claim the extra-cost Alcantara headlining.

Panoramic glass roof
Not included in subtotal

402 is marked optional with a €0 row, page 4. That does not establish a free standalone roof. The €2,887.49 Travel Package is listed on page 6, but its requirements are not explained here. Roof and package cost need confirmation before inclusion.

BMW Laserlight
Not included in subtotal

No Laserlight option appears in this schedule. Adaptive LED headlights, 552, are standard on the new car, page 5, but are not an identical specification.

Gesture Control and M Heritage logos
Not included in subtotal

Neither is separately listed in the current Cyprus schedule. No equivalent price has been verified.

Fineline Stripe wood, upholstery and exact paint finish
Not included in subtotal

The advertised wood finish has no exact match in this schedule. Upholstery and paint codes are not established by the advert, so no surcharge is assumed. Check the VIN specification before matching these.

The January 2026 Cyprus price list attributed to Char. Pilakoutas, hosted by AutoKinito, lists the M60i at €113,000 including 19% VAT. Registration and road tax are excluded; optional equipment costs extra. Delivery charges are not specified. Confirm today’s specification and total with a current quote. This is a price reference, not a valuation of the used car or a measure of its depreciation.

Advertised figures checked on 15 September 2026. Ask Mastro for current price and availability.

What it costs to keep

Our Cyprus reference for comprehensive insurance on a car valued at around €70,000 is roughly €2,000 a year, based on existing cover. Get a quote for your own cover before committing.

This car had already been serviced and was on new tyres.

Before spending €69,900

Start with the registration document, VIN and service invoices. Match the mileage across dated records. Ask an independent BMW specialist to inspect the car and put any required work in writing.

Have the inspector check the brakes, look for leaks and scan for faults. If buying the car leaves nothing for repairs, the budget does not fit the car.

We have not reviewed its history or compared equivalent cars closely enough to call this a bargain. The asking price buys you a conversation with the seller, not evidence of condition.

Mastro’s take

For someone who wants a V8 and can fund its upkeep, this belongs on the viewing list. For someone stretching to the asking price, leave it alone. Low advertised mileage does not replace an inspection.
